Amber is the Digital Production Manager for the 黑料天堂 based in Glasgow.
As part of the audience development team, Amber manages a small but mighty web production desk for 黑料天堂's news site - Context.
Since joining the Foundation in 2018, Amber has worked as newsroom manager, journalist, web producer, and audience development specialist before taking on her current role leading the web production team and managing editorial planning.
Over the years Amber has coordinated the launch of two news sites - in 2018 and Context in 2022 (previously ) - as well as managing countless special projects, including longreads and shorthands, collaborations, documentaries, newsletters, and other digital news products for the Foundation.
Now, she works across editorial, audience and tech teams, managing planning and production across the newsroom, shepherding her colleagues impactful journalism through the editorial process to final publication.
She has a passion for human rights, solving problems, and translating between the various 'languages' of journalism, tech and AI, audience metrics and visuals.
